Discover the history behind one of Arcadia's original homesteads. 10 At Home with Chef Cullen Campbell A peek inside the kitchen of one of Arcadia's favorite chefs. 20 Editor’s Note Arcadia Home & Design is celebrating the change of seasons. September is upon us and in so many neighborhoods in America leaves are changing and the weather is becoming a bit more crisp. Just because our temperatures are still hanging out in the triple digits and cacti doesn't shed red and yellow leaves, doesn't mean we can't join in the fun. In the first ever September Edition of Arcadia Home & Design , we hope to both inspire and enlighten our readers with home projects, the history of the neighborhood and even how to brew the best cup of homemade coffee. To me, the change of seasons marks a time for change in our lives. It gives us each the ability to alter our perpective or begin anew. I challenge you to try something new this month. Go after a dream or try a new project. Make a commitment to do one thing in your life which you've been avoiding and inspire yourself to do, be and grow. The beginning of Fall 2014 doesn't have to mean the change of weather, it can be the change of something big or small in your own little corner of the world. I hope you enjoy each page of this month's edition as much as we've enjoyed putting it together for you! It's been fun watching our crew come up with ideas and watching them grow.
